Our agents represent landlords. Sometimes these landlords need us to list a property. Sometimes we manage a property. Often we do both. In the event you list a property we manage do not arrange for a meeting between the landlord and the tenant. This is not good for the landlord because it doesn’t give a “level of separation” between the landlord and the tenant. The landlord should never have an emotional attachment to a tenant and should not interact with the tenant. An emotional relationship can cloud the decision-making process of the landlord.
All funds from the tenant must clear our account before the tenant moves in or is given keys. The tenant can pay be personal check if the checks will clear before move-in. If you prefer the tenant can give a money-order or certified funds on the day of move-in.
